Best moments about players in the history of CS:GO

Chips CS:GO

Hello CS:GO fans! We continue to introduce you to the professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene. Today we are going to tell you about ten of the most impressive and incredible moments in the entire history of the CS:GO game. It’s possible that little-known players can have great moments too, but we’ve decided to show you the best moments made by famous professional players! So, let’s begin!

Nikola “NiKo” Kovacs against FaZe Clan on de_cache

Kovacs against FaZe

An incredible ace with the Desert Eagle was shown by this cs:go talent from Bosnia! The moment happened at the prestigious North American championship called ELEAGUE, that is, at a LAN tournament, and not online. Thanks to NiKo’s frags, his former Mousesports team won a very important second round for the defense on de_cache. This moment became remarkable, because at that moment NiKo skillfully dealt with the players of his current team!

Marcelo “coldzera” David vs. Team Liquid on de_mirage

David vs. Team Liquid on de_mirage

The legendary moment was performed by coldzera, the current star of the Brazilian MIBR team and arguably the best cs go shooter in the world. This is not just a good highlight from a training match, this is a brilliant episode of four frags against one of the best American teams – Team Liquid, made with AWP in the semifinals of MLG Columbus 2016. The second and third frags were made in a jump and without aiming – perform such a trick in CS:GO is far from easy. Valve itself celebrated the outstanding game coldzera by decorating this part of the map with special graffiti.

Mikhail “Dosia” Stolyarov vs. Immortals on de_inferno

Joiners vs. Immortals

The only moment in our top 10 where the protagonist did not make any frags, but still his actions impressed hundreds of thousands of spectators and were useful for his team. In the final of PGL Krakow Major Dosia, a professional player of the Gambit Esports team, threw a grenade towards the players from the Brazilian team Immortals, who, having lost half of their HP from it, exploded a couple of seconds later from a bomb set by them and lost their weapons. The death of two players in the great sands disrupted the terrorist economy, which helped the Gambit Esports team to confidently win the decisive third map!

Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovacs vs. mousesports on de_overpass

Kovacs vs. mousesports on de_overpass

After looking at the awesome Dosi grenade, let’s go back to the beautiful frags. A highlight of the match between Natus Vincere and mousesports in ESL Pro League: GuardiaN shoots the entire enemy team at point B alone, killing mice with AWP one after another. After that, Ladislav skillfully uses a pillar that covers him from one side. Notably, GuardiaN killed the last enemy with the Desert Eagle. He rarely uses this pistol, but this time the stars are aligned!

Richard “shox” Papillon vs. Selfless on de_cache

Papillon vs. Selfless

This is the first moment in our top 10 performed by a famous French player, but not the last. Shox is a very good and experienced player that every CS GO team is afraid of. Richard perfectly shoots not only from machine guns, but also from pistols, so he once again demonstrated his skills in a match against the American team Selfless Gaming on de_cache. Shox’s handgun ace deserves a mention in our top 10!

Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev vs. Fnatic on de_cache

Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev vs. Fnatic

Another point on the de_cache map, but this time from s1mple. As a Liquid player, Alexander won an important round for his team and killed two Fnatic players with AWP without even turning on the crosshair! It is worth noting that the Ukrainian CS:GO star killed the first enemy in flight, and this situation is extremely rare in the game. Moreover, this moment happened at ESL One Cologne 2016, one of the biggest tournaments of that year.

Vincent “Happy” Schopenhauer vs. TSM on de_inferno

Schopenhauer vs. TSM

This is perhaps one of the most interesting moments in CS:GO history! A Frenchman with the pseudonym Happy, gracefully shot the players of the Danish team TSM (now they are called Astralis) at point B on de_inferno. Five frags from the Desert Eagle pistol, four of which are headshots! Impressive!

Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen vs. FaZe Clan on de_overpass

Rasmussen vs. FaZe Clan

Let’s move on to the de_overpass map, where dupreeh, the Astralis player, did a pretty good job of suppressing the FaZe Clan attack on site B with the Desert Eagle. The moment came when the score was 11: 9 in favor of FaZe, who by that time had won the first map of IEM Katowice 2017. Incredible headshots from a Danish professional player!

Markus “pronax” Wallsten vs. Cloud9 on de_overpass

Wallsten vs. Cloud9

A funny moment from pronax happened in 2015 during his game for the Fnatic team. The team was then almost invincible and won various rounds and matches. In a game against Cloud9 on de_overpass, this Swedish guy planted a bomb, after which he skillfully threw a Molotov cocktail right into the area of the bomb, and the Americans had to jump into the fire and try to win the round. They, of course, failed, but many still remember pronax’s masterful actions.

Fnatic vs EnVyUs on de_dust2

Fnatic vs EnVyUs on de_dust2

Our top 10 concludes with a funny moment by the Fnatic team. In the match against EnVyUs on de_dust2, the Swedish players decided not to let their opponents occupy point B and took four AWPs at the same time. The main value of this event is not that they took 4 AWPs (sometimes it happens if your team has a lot of money), but how apEX reacted – he clearly did not expect to see four AWPers on the T spawn at once! Imagine what his first reaction was … The first map ended in victory for Fnatic with a score of 19:15, and already on Cobblestone the French could not get together and lost 7:16. As a result, Fnatic won ESL One: Cologne 2015 and earned $ 100,000.

Unfortunately, on October 11, 2017, Valve added a new version of the popular map to CS:GO, and the graffiti on it was removed 🙁
