Greetings, dear readers. If you are reading this article, then you also faced the problem of long loading of the map in CS: GO. Surely you have experienced situations when all players have already loaded and are waiting for you for 5 minutes. It’s not always pleasant, so we’ll show you how to fix it.
To begin with, uploading a map in CS: GO is the same process as many others on your PC. Accordingly, the fewer there are, the more resources your computer can allocate for the game. Close all unnecessary processes (browser, music, photo editor, etc.), be sure to close all torrents. Ideally, you would also clean your CACHE from garbage, as well as check your PC for viruses. Result – the map in CS will load 20 seconds faster.
If you have a plate with fps enabled, then you probably saw that when you load a map, your fps drops from 150, to 30-40, for example. Indeed, loading a map in CS: GO eats up a lot, especially if your maximum fps is set to 300.
To make the map load faster, while in the game menu, open the console and write there:
Fps_max 59
And when the map is loaded, then return your 300 back. This is the simplest, and at the same time, the most effective way that will allow you to save another 15 seconds on loading.
